The Opportunity

This is a pivotal role at the heart of how BMS drives patient access across the UK. As the Regional and Local Market Access Strategy Manager, you'll be the engine behind a best-in-class access capability — translating national strategy into regional impact and equipping field teams with the tools, training, and insight they need to succeed.

Reporting to the Lead of Regional and Local Market Access Strategy based at our Uxbridge headquarters, you'll bridge the gap between strategic intent and on-the-ground execution — ensuring consistency, scalability, and excellence across Integrated Care Systems and the broader NHS landscape across the UK and Ireland.

What You'll Do

Lead Market Access Excellence

  • Develop and maintain a scalable CoE framework for regional market access
  • Translate national strategies into clear, actionable guidance for field teams
  • Define best practices, standards, and ways of working that drive consistent regional execution
  • Ensure alignment between brand strategy, value proposition, and regional implementation

Build Capability Across the Organisation

  • Design and deliver training programmes for Integrated Healthcare Managers (IHMs) and cross-functional field teams
  • Build expertise in NHS structures, payer engagement, health economics, and value communication
  • Develop onboarding and continuous learning curricula tailored to market access excellence
  • Coach field teams through complex access scenarios and stakeholder challenges

Develop Tools, Materials & Resources

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of high-quality market access materials — including value dossiers, payer decks, objection handlers, and formulary submission templates
  • Develop and deploy practical tools such as budget impact models, pathway analyses, and stakeholder mapping frameworks
  • Ensure all materials are regionally relevant, compliant, and strategically aligned

Generate Data-Driven Insights

  • Produce actionable insights from regional and national data to inform strategy and execution
  • Track formulary status, access barriers, and regional variation in uptake
  • Deliver regular reporting and dashboards that support leadership decision-making
  • Turn insight into practical recommendations for IHMs and the wider team

Partner with Field Teams & Cross-Functional Stakeholders

  • Act as a strategic partner to IHMs, offering expert guidance on regional access challenges
  • Support the planning and execution of key regional initiatives and pilots
  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Commercial, and Sales to deliver aligned field support
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices and success stories across regions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
