Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership career? Join our team as a Regional Branch Manager and play a pivotal role in driving business growth and operational excellence across multiple branches.

About the Role

As Regional Branch Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a group of merchanting branches within your region while also delivering operational responsibilities for your own branch. You will mentor and support Branch Managers, ensuring each branch achieves its sales, profitability, and customer service targets while maintaining compliance with company policies. Your leadership will foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Your Role

As Regional Branch Manager, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and support Branch Managers to achieve regional business objectives
  • Conduct regular branch visits, performance reviews, and development planning
  • Drive regional sales growth by identifying opportunities, supporting local initiatives, and collaborating with the external sales team
  • Monitor and support the execution of branch-level sales strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure effective use of CRM systems to manage leads and customer relationships
  • Oversee operational standards across all branches, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance
  • Support branches in achieving financial targets including revenue, margin, and cost control
  • Review and optimize logistics, stock management, and service delivery processes
  • Champion customer service excellence across the region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a regional ambassador for the company, enhancing its profile and reputation
  • Ensure all branches comply with health & safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Support credit control and financial governance across the region
  • Monitor and manage risk, escalating issues where necessary

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing multiple branches or large teams within the builders’ merchanting or construction supply industry
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales and profitability targets
  • In-depth knowledge of branch operations, inventory management, and customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
