Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Opportunity

UK Staffing Group is working exclusively on a confidential basis with an established and growing business operating within the fire and security distribution sector.

We are looking for an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to take ownership of an established South West territory, developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and driving regional growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships and managing their own region. The territory already has an established customer base and is performing well, with significant opportunity for further development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full commercial ownership of the South West territory, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Develop existing customer accounts while proactively identifying and securing new business.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers across the fire and security sector.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face customer meetings, with a target of 10–14 per week.
  • Identify customer requirements and provide consultative, solution-led sales support.
  • Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to deliver a high standard of customer service.
  • Support the development of larger national and key accounts where required.
  • Manage your own diary, sales pipeline and regional business development activity.
  • Consistently work towards agreed sales and commercial targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
