Regional Business Development Manager – Power Supplies
Industrial Power Supplies | Power Electronics | AC/DC & DC/DC | LED Drivers
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join a growing organisation specialising in industrial power supplies and power electronics solutions.
This is a field-based role, working from home and travelling across the UK to visit customers, with occasional visits to the company’s office near Reading.
We are looking for an experienced technical sales professional with a strong background in power supplies, power electronics or related technologies, who can generate new business and develop long-term relationships with OEMs, manufacturers and industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the industrial power supply and power electronics markets.
- Build relationships with OEMs, design engineers, procurement teams and key decision-makers across the UK.
- Promote a portfolio of AC/DC and DC/DC converters, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), LED drivers and bespoke power solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and understanding technical requirements through to negotiation and closing.
- Grow existing customer accounts while identifying new markets and applications.
- Travel throughout your territory to meet customers, working from home when not on the road, with occasional visits to the office near Reading.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in technical field sales, business development or account management.
- A background in industrial power supplies, power electronics or related technologies.
- Ideally, experience selling AC/DC or DC/DC power supplies, SMPS, LED drivers, battery systems or custom power solutions.
- Experience selling into OEMs and sectors such as industrial automation, electronics, medical devices, instrumentation, lighting or energy.
- A proven track record of generating new business and developing long-term customer relationships.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customers across the UK.
