Regional Business Development Manager – UK
Responsible for driving revenue growth of ACC Aerospace Products and Filter Connectors, developing and executing annual sales plans, and championing the execution of sales programs and initiatives. Due to the nature of this position, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-confident individual with a neat, well-dressed and professional appearance. The job requires significant people contact and pressure to increase design wins and sales growth.
What does a Regional Business Development Manager do?
- Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Interconnect market and the competitive landscape in Europe and Asia
- Promote the product line and grow market share in assigned countries across Europe and Asia
- Travel (approx. 50%-75%) and present products with the Central team to develop and execute new product development and take-share strategies
- Identify and monitor design-in opportunities, issue quotes and track order flow
- Develop pricing for new opportunities/products by analyzing the competitive landscape and cost-margin levels, to win tenders issued by primes and subs in the market
- Be a key internal driver by liaising with Engineering and Production teams to ensure order facilitation from concept to delivery
- Work closely with the distribution and salespeople, internal/external customers and the product marketing team

What you bring to the table
Must have:
- Business, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or similar Undergraduate degree
- 3+ years of experience in an Engineering, Technical Sales, or Consulting role, preferably in an Electronics or Manufacturing industry
- Experience with Cost/Margin Analysis
- Excellent report writing, presentation & time management skills
- Must be self-motivated with a team player attitude
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong command of the English language required
- Familiarity working with sales rep companies and direct sales organizations that are shared within a company (preferred)
Preference is for the position to be in Europe or Asia. However, consideration will be given to local candidates if willing to travel internationally up to 50-75% of the time.
The base salary range for this position is £70,000 – £80,000 annually. In determining the rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol’s total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program. Our employees are also eligible for participation in an annual incentive bonus program based on their position.
