INEOS Automotive - Built For More

Story so far

Since we started our journey to build a no nonsense 4X4, we've come a long way. We've established INEOS Automotive as a serious contender in 4X4 development and manufacturing. We've partnered with some of the biggest names in the automotive industry. We've made our way from vision to prototype. We've secured a world-class production facility and delivery team. We've delivered Grenadiers to customers all around the world. We're building our double cab pick up, the Quartermaster.

People and Culture

Easy never changed anything. Not in manufacturing, science, engineering or energy - and certainly not elite sport. At INEOS we tackle every challenge head-on, and we help extraordinary athletes achieve extraordinary things. When it comes to making positive change, we know nothing gets done without grit, rigor and humor. Our Automotive team consist of around 1500 employees, 10 locations and 44 nationalities, we're an international team working together to challenge the ordinary.

If this sounds like you, let's talk.

Your role

Reporting directly to the Regional Director, the Regional Business Manager serves as the primary commercial interface between INEOS and its current and future retail partners. Our retailers are at the heart of everything we do in the UK&I region and this role provides leadership and strategic direction across all areas of the retailer business, driving performance throughout the Northern Region (up to 15 Retailers), including Scotland, the North West, North East, and the Midlands.

This is a senior leadership position with full accountability for delivering business performance against plan across the North of England. Working closely with the RD, UK leadership team and wider commercial functions, the Regional Business Manager is responsible for ensuring retailers achieve objectively measurable business performance targets while supporting the ongoing growth and development of the INEOS network.

You will be responsible and lead the performance (Stock, Enquiry, Test Drive, Sales, Customer Satisfaction, Retention & other KPI’s) of the northern region and this role is fundamentally about leading retailer performance, driving commercial growth, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering measurable business results across a significant regional market.

The successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly to our retailer locations and attend key meetings at the London head office on a fortnightly basis.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
