The global Procurement team at Twinings Ovo follow the strategy ”Buying better together”. We are in the middle of an exciting project to build a future-orientated Procurement organisation with harmonised processes and systems. As the Regional Category Lead - Indirects, you will play an important role in Europe to build and drive the indirect Procurement organisation forward.
We are looking for an experienced procurement leader who brings the right leadership to the team and has passion to make the difference in our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead the TwO Indirects Teams across our European footprint.
- Category Leadership responsibility means driving the ongoing build of category knowledge, expertise and management excellence.
- Business Unit responsibility means aligning category and Business Unit strategies, to create an agreed set of priorities.
- To Lead the Indirects Steering Meeting, the indirects steering meeting is a leadership group to create, implement and maintain a joined up Indirect Procurement Strategy. This means creating and maintaining a compelling overarching vision, prioritising areas of focus, resource management and planning and finding ways of activating the Indirects Procurement resources to deliver better outcomes.
- Leadership of Indirects teams to ensure right capabilities; people, processes and systems are in place, to consistently deliver against all Indirects needs. Critical to ensure building of Category Management excellence and commercial acumen across teams.
- Individual responsibility to manage assigned Indirects categories, to conduct tender processes with national and international suppliers using our e-sourcing tools and responsibility for preparing and monitoring contracts cover positions.
- Business Partnering with all key stakeholders (internal and external) to clearly define near and long-term business needs and right team capabilities in place to deliver. Responsible for continued communication of the Indirects Category agenda and performance delivery across the Procurement Community and all key stakeholders.

- You will have at least 10 years experience within a Procurement function, with Category Management Excellence experience.
- You will be results-driven, but also collaborative and a team player.
- You will have strong communication and influencing skills, in order to both business partner within the business and manage external suppliers.
- You will have Global sourcing experience.
- You will have experience in Risk and Change Management
