This role is responsible for converting market and customer insights into targeted growth strategies that expand Instron’s position in priority verticals and ensure disciplined, high-quality execution across the full commercial funnel. Success is driven through visible, hands-on field leadership, data-driven performance management, and the continuous development of people, capabilities and behaviours aligned with ITW values.

  • Translate EMEA strategy into territory-level growth plans focused on priority 80/20 verticals, products and accounts.
  • Drive Lever 1, 2 and 3 initiatives to generate incremental order intake and sustainable market share growth.
  • Continuously assess market trends, competitive dynamics and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.

Commercial Leadership & Performance Management

  • Monitor sales funnel progression and support channel partners in converting opportunities into orders.
  • Analyse won/lost opportunities and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Recruit, onboard, evaluate and develop high-performing distributors and agents across the region.
  • Establish annual business plans and growth targets with channel partners.
  • Conduct regular distributor performance reviews and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Identify capability gaps and deliver coaching, training and development programmes to improve channel effectiveness.
  • Ensure distributor alignment with Instron's commercial strategy, pricing policies and customer experience standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
