Regional Clients and Market Lead - UK
Department: Enabling: Growth
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: United Kingdom
Description
The Regional Market Lead is the senior market-facing leader for the region, accountable for shaping and advancing Anthesis’ regional growth agenda while building a connected, high-performing, purpose-led employee community. This role is part of the Anthesis Senior Leadership Team.
As the primary regional ambassador for Anthesis, the role leads market engagement, strategic client development, opportunity creation, and regional collaboration to strengthen Anthesis’ market position and accelerate sustainable growth.
Success in the role is measured through regional growth performance, including CAGR, bookings growth, pipeline momentum, strategic client expansion, and market positioning — alongside the strength of regional culture, community, and employee experience.
The role operates within Anthesis’ matrix model, working in close partnership with Global Business Line Leads, who own P&L, revenue delivery, service offerings, technical capability, and delivery performance, and with Group enabling functions — including Marketing, People & Development, Finance, Legal, and IT — to drive growth, strengthen regional execution, and ensure market priorities are effectively translated into action.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute the regional growth plan, including strategic clients, sector priorities, market positioning, talent requirements, and investment needs, aligned with Anthesis' global strategy.
- Lead a high-performance growth culture focused on CAGR, bookings growth, pipeline expansion, account development, and strategic opportunity creation.
- Drive regional growth initiatives and new business opportunities through market engagement, partnerships, business development activity, and collaboration with Marketing, Growth Team, and Global Business Line Leads.
- Lead regional bookings governance, pipeline discipline, forecasting input, and commercial performance visibility to support achievement of growth targets.
- Enable growth across the region's most strategic clients through executive relationship development, account planning, opportunity identification, and cross-Business Line collaboration.
- Partner with Global Business Line Leads to align regional opportunities with Business Line strategies, remove barriers to growth, and strengthen execution.
- Build commercial capability through coaching, training, and reinforcement of effective selling, account management, bidding, and opportunity management practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
