As we evolve into Social Wellness Clubs, we are creating spaces and experiences that support every aspect of our members’ physical, mental, nutritional and social wellbeing. By bringing together expert guidance, genuine community, personalised experiences and innovative technology, we make wellness feel accessible, welcoming and easy to navigate. Virgin Active is committed to recruiting the finest people who share our passion for creating exceptional experiences and delivering world-class service every day. We are looking for a Regional Commercial Manager to join our Commercial Team.

Role Type: FTC - 12 Months
Number of hours: 40

The Regional Commercial Manager is accountable for accelerating membership growth across Virgin Active's London clubs. Working in partnership with General Managers and club Commercial Managers, you will turn performance data into clear local plans; strengthen sales leadership and execution; and create high-performing teams that consistently deliver sales, yield and net membership growth. This is a hands-on, field-based 12-month role with a strong focus on coaching, execution-at-pace and measurable results.

The Role:

  • Own regional membership sales performance, translating budgets and club targets into clear weekly priorities, action plans and interventions.
  • Partner with General Managers and club Commercial Managers to diagnose performance, identify opportunities and agree actions, owners and timescales.
  • Coach and challenge club leaders and sales teams across lead generation, enquiry handling, appointments and tours, follow-up, referrals, local partnerships and conversion.
  • Create a consistent commercial operating rhythm through regular performance reviews, pipeline scrutiny, forecasting and the sharing of best practice.
  • Use CRM data, business intelligence dashboards and customer insight to identify risks and opportunities, test initiatives and measure impact.
  • Work with Marketing, Central Sales, Operations and other teams to deliver campaigns, promotions and local sales-driving activity effectively.
  • Support the recruitment, selection, onboarding and development of club commercial talent, and work with General Managers and People teams to address underperformance.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and concise regional updates, escalating material risks early and recommending practical solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
