At Howdens, we are looking for an experienced Regional Installations Manager to lead and support our installation teams across the North of the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a site-focused, commercially aware leader who enjoys managing people, building strong relationships, and making sure projects are delivered safely, smoothly, on time and to the highest standard.

You’ll play a key role in the success of our Supply & Fit projects, acting as the main link between our Contract Installation Managers, Contract Design Coordinators, depots, regional contract teams, fitters, site teams and external stakeholders.

Whether you’re currently working as a Regional Installation Manager, Installation Manager, Contracts Manager, Site Manager, Construction Manager, Fit-Out Manager or Senior Supervisor, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Regional Installations Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading a geographically spread team of Installation Managers and Contract Design Coordinators, ensuring installations across the North are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with business expectations.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing, motivating and developing Installation Managers and Contract Design Coordinators across the North of the UK.
  • Supporting the National Contracts Installation Manager with the successful delivery of contract installations.
  • Ensuring Supply & Fit projects are installed correctly, safely, on time and within agreed budgets.
  • Building strong working relationships with Regional Contract Managers, contract depots, hub teams, fitters, site managers, quantity surveyors and other key stakeholders.
  • Making sure sites run smoothly by supporting pre-start meetings, progress meetings, installation checks, quality audits and client handovers.
  • Ensuring your team completes reports, logs and site documentation accurately and on time.
  • Supporting teams to resolve installation, product, site or personnel issues quickly and professionally.
  • Leading by example to promote a strong, proactive health and safety culture across all sites.
  • Setting and monitoring KPIs, supporting performance and ensuring teams have the right training, guidance and support to succeed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
