Salary: From £55k plus car allowance (valid UK driving licence required)

Hours: Full Time / 40 hours per week

Location: Field based with travel to our nurseries in North West and West London Areas

Purpose of the Role

As Regional Director, you will provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of nursery settings, driving exceptional standards in quality, safety, people performance, and commercial growth. Leading and developing high-performing teams, you will champion Bright Horizons' values and pedagogy to deliver outstanding outcomes for children, families, colleagues, and the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop high-performing Nursery Management Teams across the region.
  • Drive quality, occupancy, financial performance, and sustainable growth.
  • Champion Bright Horizons' HEART culture, pedagogy, and values.
  • Ensure excellence in safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety.
  • Use data and insights to improve operational performance and decision-making.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Marketing, and operational teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement across multiple sites.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, families, clients, and key stakeholders.

Essential / Desired Experience

  • Senior multi‑site leadership experience (15+ nursery/service sites) within a highly regulated, medium to large organisation.
  • Experience and knowledge of the early years sector.
  • Proven success delivering high‑quality customer, client, and employee outcomes, with sustained YOY growth.
  • Strong track record of leadership development, performance management, and impact measurement in partnership with HR.
  • Confident decision‑maker with experience leading change, innovation, and turnaround initiatives.
  • Demonstrable success building high‑performing teams, driving regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and service excellence.
  • Ability to translate strategy into action using data, systems, and digital tools to improve performance and commercial outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Early Childhood Education or Leadership / Business Management.
  • Recognised Leadership & Management qualification.
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to professional development.
