Regional Director, Global Travel Retail

As Regional Director, Global Travel Retail, you will lead the delivery of regional commercial and financial objectives across the branded portfolio. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, profitability and market share while building strong partnerships with key retail customers and distributors. This role requires an inspiring leader who can navigate diverse cultural and economic environments, influence strategic decision-making, and develop a high-performing team focused on exceptional business results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional profit and loss account, ensuring delivery of business objectives through sustainable revenue growth, profitability and long-term brand value creation. Monitor market, consumer, competitor and industry trends to inform commercial, marketing and operational decisions. Drive strategic planning and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate demand planning and strong execution across the region.
  • Develop and maintain joint business plans with key customers, aligning commercial investments and growth plans with longer-term business objectives. Lead negotiations with major retail partners to secure optimal trading terms, maximise return on investment and support delivery of brand and commercial strategies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop impactful market plans that strengthen brand presence and consumer engagement across the travel retail channel.
  • Build, coach and develop a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor and manage pricing, promotional activity, trade investments, stock levels and customer performance to ensure effective commercial execution. Maintain full accountability for budgets, compliance requirements and financial controls within the region, while continually evaluating investment effectiveness and commercial performance.

  • You are a proven commercial leader with significant experience managing regional business performance, customer relationships and complex negotiations.
  • You possess strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market trends and translate insights into effective business strategies.
  • You are highly collaborative, able to influence stakeholders at all levels and build strong partnerships both internally and externally.
  • You demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities and have a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • You are commercially astute, results-driven and comfortable operating in fast-paced, international environments.
  • With strong planning, forecasting and decision-making skills, you consistently deliver sustainable growth while maintaining a focus on long-term value creation and brand equity.
