About Global Citizen Solutions

Global Citizen Solutions (GCS) is an international advisory firm specializing in global mobility, residence and citizenship solutions, and strategic advisory services.

Founded in Lisbon in 2016, GCS has advised more than 15,000 clients, facilitated over USD 3.5 billion in investment, and offers a portfolio of 50+ residence and citizenship solutions through a team of more than 100 professionals.

About the Role

Global Citizen Solutions is seeking an accomplished Regional Director, Key Intermediaries to lead the development of our institutional presence in London.

This is a senior, externally facing and highly commercial role focused on originating and developing high-value intermediary relationships across private banks, family offices, wealth managers, RIAs, financial advisers, law firms, tax advisers, accounting firms and other professional advisers serving HNW and UHNW clients.

The Regional Director will act as a senior ambassador for GCS while remaining directly accountable for business generation: building a strong intermediary network, developing recurring referral partnerships and generating qualified client opportunities.

This is fundamentally a self-origination role. The successful candidate will be expected to independently build their institutional network and commercial pipeline within their market. Where appropriate, they will also support the initial qualification of referred prospects before transitioning qualified opportunities to GCS’s Client Advisory team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a high-quality network of private banks, family offices, wealth managers, RIAs, financial advisers, law firms, tax advisers, accounting firms and other professional intermediaries.
  • Proactively originate and onboard new intermediary relationships capable of generating recurring qualified referrals.
  • Develop senior-level relationships with decision-makers, relationship managers, partners and key influencers within priority institutions.
  • Maintain a disciplined cadence of meetings, presentations and follow-up with priority relationships.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and broader market-development opportunities.
  • Represent GCS at institutional meetings, conferences, industry events and professional associations.
  • Build GCS’s visibility, credibility and institutional presence across the regional HNW/UHNW and professional-advisory ecosystem.
  • Develop strong knowledge of GCS’s residence, citizenship and global mobility solutions to engage credibly with intermediaries.
  • Support the initial qualification of referred prospects and transition qualified opportunities to the Client Advisory team.
  • Collaborate across GCS teams and markets to develop cross-border intermediary opportunities.
  • Maintain a structured commercial pipeline and accurate CRM records covering relationships, meetings, referrals, opportunities and next actions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
