GlyMed Plus Advanced Aesthetics is a leading professional skincare company headquartered in Utah, United States, dedicated to the success of licensed estheticians and skincare professionals worldwide. For over 30 years, the company has developed pharmaceutical-grade, award-winning skincare formulas combining advanced scientific ingredients with certified botanicals, spanning more than 98 professional-only products. Beyond its product line, GlyMed Plus operates The Institute of Skin Science, one of the most respected advanced aesthetics education programs in the industry, and has further innovated with REGEN Retail, a proprietary eCommerce platform built to generate additional revenue for licensed skincare professionals. As the company continues to expand its international presence, GlyMed Plus is building out dedicated regional finance leadership to support its growth across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Regional Director of Finance for the United Kingdom to lead the financial strategy, reporting, and operations of GlyMed Plus across the UK market. Working fully remotely within the United Kingdom, you will serve as the most senior finance leader in the region and a key partner to both local commercial leadership and the global finance function. This is a high-ownership executive role for a commercially driven finance leader with deep knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, strong business partnering skills, and the ability to build and lead a regional finance function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional financial strategy, planning, and performance management for the United Kingdom
  • Own financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, and the integrity of the general ledger for the UK entity
  • Ensure full compliance with UK statutory requirements, including Companies House filings, Corporation Tax, VAT, and applicable HMRC obligations
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and banking relationships within the region
  • Develop and oversee annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans for the UK market
  • Partner with the global finance team to align regional reporting with group consolidation and GAAP or IFRS standards as required
  • Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis to support commercial decisions, pricing strategy, and UK market expansion
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and financial institutions in the UK
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and employee expense management in coordination with UK HR
  • Design and maintain robust internal controls, financial governance, and risk management frameworks for the region
  • Build, lead, and develop the UK finance and accounting team

Required Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of progressive finance experience, including a senior finance leadership role such as Finance Director, Regional CFO, or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge of UK statutory reporting, tax compliance, VAT, and HMRC regulations
  • Strong track record in financial strategy, planning, reporting, and business partnering at a senior level
  • Experience managing finance operations within a consumer products, personal care, beauty, retail, or related product-based business
  • Recognized UK accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite, Xero, Sage, or similar
  • Proven ability to operate and lead effectively in a fully remote capacity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in skincare, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or the professional beauty industry
  • Familiarity with eCommerce, direct-to-consumer, and wholesale distribution financial models in the UK market
  • Exposure to multi-currency operations and cross-border intercompany transactions
  • Experience supporting international expansion, market entry, or group consolidation
  • Experience working within a US-headquartered parent company and navigating transatlantic reporting requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
