Regional Director – Project Management | North

Location: Manchester / Leeds

Salary: Up to £95,000 + bonus

Working pattern: Flexible / Hybrid

We are working with a well-established property and construction consultancy looking to appoint a Regional Director of Project Management to lead and grow its Project Management offering across Manchester and Leeds.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Project Management professional who combines strong technical delivery with commercial awareness, client development, and team leadership.

The Role

You will take a leading role in the continued growth and development of the Project Management service line across the North.

Working alongside the wider senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing existing client relationships, generating new opportunities, and supporting the continued growth of the regional PM team.

The role will include:

  • Leading and growing the Project Management offering across Manchester and Leeds
  • Developing relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Generating new work and contributing towards fee-income targets
  • Leading the delivery of high-quality Project Management services
  • Developing and implementing regional business plans
  • Identifying new commercial opportunities across the market
  • Supporting business development, marketing, and networking activity
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing members of the Project Management team
  • Driving improvements in processes, quality, and best practice
  • Working collaboratively with other service lines and senior leaders across the business

The successful candidate will remain involved in project delivery while taking significant responsibility for the commercial growth and strategic direction of the regional PM offering.

About You

We are looking for an established Project Management professional with a strong reputation and network across the North of England.

Ideally, you will have:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • MRICS qualification
  • Significant experience within a property or construction consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Manchester and/or Leeds property markets
  • An established network of clients and industry contacts
  • A demonstrable track record of winning work and developing client relationships
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of fee generation
  • Experience leading and developing Project Management teams
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and relationship-management skills
  • The ability to combine hands-on project delivery with leadership and business development
