Regional Director of Sales
As a specialist recruitment consultant within the luxury hospitality sector, I am delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Regional Director of Sales to join a highly regarded hospitality group, taking responsibility for a portfolio of luxury hotels across the UK.
This is a senior sales leadership position suited to a highly commercial, strategic and results-driven individual with a proven track record of driving revenue across multiple properties. The Regional Director of Sales will provide leadership and direction to hotel sales teams, develop key national and international accounts, and identify new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, MICE and group segments.

The Role
The Regional Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy across the hotel portfolio, ensuring individual properties maximise their commercial potential while benefiting from a coordinated approach to key accounts and market opportunities.
Working closely with General Managers, property-based sales teams and senior leadership, you will drive sales performance, strengthen account penetration and ensure a consistently proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy across the hotel portfolio
- Drive revenue growth across corporate, leisure, MICE, group and events segments
- Lead, develop and inspire property-based sales teams, establishing clear objectives and performance expectations
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across key UK and international feeder markets
- Develop and maintain relationships with major corporate clients, agencies, consortia, TMCs and strategic partners
- Maximise cross-selling opportunities across the wider hotel portfolio
- Provide strategic direction for both proactive and reactive sales activity
- Monitor sales production, pipeline, conversion and account performance across each property
- Conduct regular hotel and market reviews, identifying opportunities to increase market share
- Ensure sales strategies are aligned with individual hotel revenue strategies and overall commercial objectives
- Analyse competitor activity, market trends and changing demand patterns to identify new revenue opportunities
- Support hotel General Managers and sales leaders with key account development and commercial planning
- Establish clear sales KPIs and ensure accountability for delivery across the region
- Represent the group at key industry events, trade shows, client presentations and networking opportunities
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver ambitious revenue and growth objectives

Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Regional Director of Sales, Cluster Director of Sales or senior multi-property sales leader within the luxury or upscale hotel sector
- Strong track record of successfully managing sales performance across a multi-property hotel portfolio
- Demonstrable success in delivering revenue growth and increasing market share
- Extensive knowledge of corporate, leisure, MICE and group markets
- Strong network of relationships across key clients, agencies and industry partners
- Highly proactive and commercially driven, with a strong focus on new business development
- Excellent leadership skills with experience developing high-performing hotel sales teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance, pipeline and market data
- Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels within a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment
