Regional Director UK&I

full-time position | Hybrid or Remote

We specialize in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Asset Performance Management (APM), Protection & IED, Network Model Management (NMM), Outage System Management (OMS) software, and analytics.
IPS®SYSTEMS offers outstanding and innovative solutions for the Global Energy Industry and other sectors. We work with many other companies and corporations, such as Megger, CGI, Atos, Accenture, Wipro, etc.

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven and commercially astute Regional Director UK&I to lead and accelerate our growth across the United Kingdom and Ireland. This is a key commercial role focused on expanding our market presence, winning new enterprise customers, developing strategic accounts, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in complex enterprise software sales, managing multimillion-pound pipelines and closing high-value opportunities within utilities, energy, or other asset-intensive industries.

You understand the UK&I market and know how to navigate complex stakeholder environments, build trusted C-level relationships, and position SaaS and technology solutions around measurable business value. Experience supporting utilities through digital transformation will be a significant advantage.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the UK&I sales strategy in alignment with global business objectives
  • Identify, engage, and win new enterprise customers across energy, utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, and other asset-intensive sectors
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through solution positioning, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, senior stakeholders, and key decision-makers
  • Develop and manage a strong, qualified pipeline while maintaining accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Drive strategic account planning and expansion within key customers to maximize long-term revenue and customer value
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations covering pricing, contract structures, subscription models, and partnership agreements
  • Work closely with IPS®Energy delivery, product, technical, and leadership teams to ensure strong alignment throughout the sales process and successful customer outcomes
  • Apply value-based and SaaS-oriented selling approaches to build sustainable, long-term customer partnerships
  • Develop and leverage relationships with partners, system integrators, and other relevant stakeholders across the UK&I ecosystem
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activity, regulatory trends, and emerging opportunities across the UK and Ireland
  • Represent IPS®Energy at customer meetings, industry conferences, trade events, and other strategic engagements

Your energy

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or another relevant technical discipline
  • 5+ years of successful enterprise sales experience, preferably within software, SaaS, energy technology, or related solutions
  • Strong knowledge of the UK&I market, including its commercial environment and relevant energy and utility regulatory landscape
  • Proven experience selling into utilities, energy companies, or other asset-intensive and mission-critical industries
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud, subscription-based, and solution-selling models
  • Experience working with partners, system integrators, channel organizations, or broader technology ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, technology-driven sales cycles and close high-value enterprise deals
  • Proven record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience developing long-term strategic customer relationships and growing key accounts
  • Excellent commercial negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership while collaborating effectively within an international team
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland as required
