Placed by Leon is partnering with a prestigious brand within the luxury watch & Jewellery industry on an exciting opportunity to appoint a Regional Director, responsible for multiple high-value locations across Outer London.

We’re looking for a credible, commercially driven senior retail leader with real gravitas, someone with significant experience managing senior managers across a multi-site environment and who is confident taking full accountability for P&L, commercial performance, people and operational standards.

This is a substantial leadership position requiring someone who can balance strategic thinking with exceptional execution. You’ll have the autonomy to lead your region as a business: analysing performance, identifying opportunities for growth, challenging your leaders and ensuring robust plans are in place to deliver against sales, profit and wider business objectives.

Just as importantly, this is a people-centric leadership role. We’re looking for someone who creates a culture of autonomy and accountability, develops high-performing leaders, identifies and nurtures talent and builds strong succession plans. You’ll lead through your senior managers while remaining a visible and influential leader across the region.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of high-turnover, high-profit retail businesses, with accountability for:

  • Regional P&L and commercial performance, including sales, profitability, budgets, costs and driving efficiencies
  • Analysing sales figures and forecasting future performance, identifying opportunities to maximise profit and grow or protect market share
  • Leading, motivating, coaching and challenging senior retail leaders to increase sales, improve efficiency and deliver against KPIs and targets
  • Developing clear regional business plans and translating wider strategy into operational activity that teams can successfully implement
  • Benchmarking against competitors, understanding local market trends and challenging leaders to continually evolve their business plans
  • Driving business development through clienteling, events, PR and high-value client networks
  • Building strong relationships across Support Office and the wider business to unlock commercial opportunities for individual locations and the wider region
  • Managing and developing relationships with key strategic brand partners
  • Leading regional and wider retail projects, ensuring clear vision, robust planning, stakeholder engagement, budget control and delivery against agreed KPIs
  • Driving consistently high operational standards across multiple locations and holding leaders accountable for their execution
  • Developing talent, coaching future leaders and creating robust succession plans
  • Ensuring teams consistently deliver an exceptional luxury client experience
  • Ensuring targets, product allocation, incentives and commission structures are understood and used effectively to drive performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
