The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced multi-site hospitality leader to oversee food and beverage operations across two busy venues in Scotland. The venues offer a varied mix of restaurants, bars, cafés, and takeaway operations.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being present in the operation, developing teams, and driving consistently high standards across multiple sites.

The role

You will work closely with the individual site managers, providing leadership, commercial direction, and operational support across both locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee food and beverage operations across both locations.
  • Support and develop the site managers and their teams.
  • Maintain consistent service, product, and operational standards.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and commercial performance.
  • Monitor labour costs, rotas, stock, margins, and purchasing.
  • Review trading performance and implement clear action plans.
  • Improve guest, owner, and visitor satisfaction.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, health and safety, and company procedures.
  • Support seasonal planning, events, entertainment, and promotional activity.
  • Work with senior leadership on budgets, forecasts, and operational strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve menus, service delivery, and revenue generation.
  • Resolve operational challenges and support managers with complex issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
