About The Role
As a Regional Finance Assistant, you will provide essential financial support across our thriving Bristol academies. Working closely with academy leaders and the wider finance team, you will help ensure financial processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with Trust policies.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Processing purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions.
- Managing supplier accounts and supporting BACS payment runs.
- Raising invoices and monitoring outstanding debts.
- Completing bank reconciliations and payment processing.
- Supporting payroll administration and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and resolving finance queries.
- Providing support with finance systems and user administration.
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects and wider team initiatives.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
You'll Ideally Have Experience In
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger administration.
- Financial transaction processing, receipts and payments.
- Bank reconciliations and financial record management.
- Finance systems administration and user support.
- Credit control and debt management.
- Working with accounting software, ideally PS Financials (PSF) or similar systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
Most importantly, you'll bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service to colleagues and academies.
