Contract: Permanent - 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £49,990 depending on experience, company car or car allowance, plus bonus and mobile phone/ laptop
Location: South East Region of UK
Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Working Days: 09:00 - 5:30
Qualifications: You must be fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Job Description
This exciting role within our Network Finance Team requires a self-driven professional who is both commercially and analytically minded. You will leverage your strong business partnering skills to build strategic relationships and effectively influence stakeholders across the organisation, working closely with Regional Finance Managers to drive high-impact projects.
Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility
- Strategic Insights: Provide clear, data-driven insights into actual results and overall business performance to guide executive strategy
- Value Creation: Proactively identify cost savings, operational efficiencies, and potential risks for the Network and the wider business, as well as delivery plans to achieve these
- Drive Operational Excellence: Influencing stakeholders to improve the efficiency of our core processes while driving standardisation across sectors and the entire Network
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for depot managers, maintaining regular communication through daily and weekly calls to develop and track actionable plans
- Process Transformation: Review, challenge, and redesign existing reporting processes to facilitate agile decision-making, introducing robust new controls where required
- Project Delivery: Take the lead on high-impact projects, ensuring consistent delivery that is ‘on time and in full’
- Collaborative Alignment: Work seamlessly alongside the wider Finance function to champion consistency and ensure we are all driven by "same goal" practices.

Qualifications
You must be fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
You will also have:
- Analytical Prowess: You have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to present complex results to an excellent standard in a simple, clear manner
- Tech Savvy: You bring a strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Google Reporting Suite applications
- Stakeholder Mastery: You are a natural Business Partner capable of influencing and collaborating at all levels within the Network
- Strategic Mindset: You possess a strong willingness to challenge the status quo regarding all reporting and operational practices
- Proactive Problem Solver: You pair a problem-solving attitude with the drive to deliver results, constantly looking for continuous improvement in your area of responsibility and beyond
- Resilience & Autonomy: You are highly organised, able to self-manage your workload and prioritise tasks effectively according to deadlines, importance, and urgency
- Culture Add: Crucially, you bring a highly positive, ‘can-do’ attitude to the team
