Regional Finance Business Partner
Our Tyne and Wear based client is seeking a Regional Finance Business Partner. Requires a night away/week, c £60,000 plus car bonus and benefits.
The role will cover the area of North of England into Scotland.
Our client is a leading national organisation with a significant footprint in the North East is seeking a commercial Regional Finance Business Partner. The business is a market leader, highly profitable and has displayed consistent long term growth.
This is not a role for a desk-bound reporter; you will be the financial partner to regional operations managers, translating data into actionable strategies that drive profitability.
Responsibilities
The role will focus on the following:
- Drive Performance: Partner with regional leadership to challenge, support, and influence operational decisions across the North of England and Scotland.
- Commercial Insight: Deliver robust financial analysis, identify margin improvement opportunities, and in-depth insight to regional variances.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the regional budgeting process, ensuring local managers take full ownership of their financial targets.
- On-the-Road Collaboration: Travel regularly to sites to build strong, face-to-face relationships, which includes staying away approximately one night per week.

Requirements
You should be a qualified accountant who thrives outside the traditional finance function.
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Commercial Edge: Proven experience in a business partnering or commercially focused finance role, ideally within a multi-site national business.
- Relationship Builder: Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge non-finance stakeholders.
- Mobility: A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel extensively across the North and Scotland, including weekly overnight stays, although your office base will be in the Tyne and Wear area.
