Regional Finance Director - Housebuilding
Kent | £100,000-£150,000 + Bonus & Package - DOE
A leading UK housebuilder is looking to appoint a Regional Finance Director to join its senior regional management team, supporting the Managing Director in driving financial performance, commercial decision-making, and long-term business strategy.
This is a senior, commercially focused Finance Director position rather than a traditional financial reporting role. You'll have genuine influence across the regional business, working closely with the MD, Commercial, Production, Sales, and Land teams.
The role will include:
- Leading the regional finance function and team
- Partnering with the MD on business strategy, performance, and new business decisions
- Financial oversight of land acquisitions and new developments
- Challenging budgets, forecasts, CVRs, costs, and cash flow
- Identifying commercial opportunities, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Driving robust financial controls, governance, and reporting
- Supporting optimization of the regional landbank and site performance
- Providing financial insight to senior regional and divisional leadership

We're looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Strong post-qualified experience across both commercial/business finance and financial control
- Experience leading month-end, forecasting, planning, and financial reporting
- Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders
- Experience managing and developing a finance team
- Ideally, experience within housebuilding, construction, property, or another development-led environment
