AuxiliaGroup Recruitment are hiring a Regional Freight Sales Manager on behalf of our client in the ferry transportation industry.
We are seeking an experienced freight sales professional who can build, develop and manage key customer relationships across Northern Ireland and the wider logistics market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a strong freight customer base, securing new business opportunities and establishing long-term commercial partnerships with hauliers, exporters, freight forwarders and logistics operators.
You will work closely with senior leadership, bringing market insight, industry expertise and a proactive business development approach to support the continued growth of the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow freight business across Northern Ireland and surrounding markets.
- Identify, engage and convert new customers into long-term commercial accounts.
- Build strong relationships with hauliers, freight forwarders, exporters and logistics providers.
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of freight customers.
- Lead contract discussions and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Consistently achieve and exceed volume and revenue targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide commercial market intelligence.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline reporting.
- Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities and customer meetings.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in freight sales, business development or a related commercial role.
- Demonstrated success in winning new business and growing key accounts.
- Strong network within the haulage, freight, logistics or export sectors.
- Experience selling service-based solutions based on value rather than price alone.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
