About the Role

Due to internal promotion, Dementia UK is looking for their next Regional Fundraiser to join our Community Fundraising team. It’s an exciting time to join the team as we have recently expanded in response to sustained year-on-year growth and our ambitious five-year organisational strategy. As a Regional Fundraiser you will lead on developing and managing relationships with a great network of supporters across the Wales and West Midlands region — including individuals, community groups, and corporate organisations.

You will play a key role in delivering our community fundraising strategy by identifying new opportunities, nurturing long-term relationships, and inspiring people to take action and raise vital funds. As a Regional Fundraiser, you will proactively build a strong pipeline of supporters, delivering tailored stewardship journeys that deepen engagement and increase lifetime value. You will collaborate with teams across the charity to promote campaigns and events, contribute to regional content and represent Dementia UK at external events and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on developing and managing relationships with a network of supporters across the Wales and West Midlands region.
  • Identify new opportunities, nurture long-term relationships, and inspire people to take action and raise vital funds.
  • Build a strong pipeline of supporters, delivering tailored stewardship journeys.
  • Collaborate with teams across the charity to promote campaigns and events, contribute to regional content and represent Dementia UK at external events and presentations.

Requirements

  • Background in community fundraising, experience of working in relationship management or new business.
  • Understanding of community fundraising across both relationship management and new business development.
  • Proven success in building and sustaining stakeholder relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
