Regional General Manager SBU

As a Regional General Manager SBU here at Honeywell, you will effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders across the organization. In this high impact role, you will work self-reliantly as a senior member of our guide team to achieve organizational objectives. You will assist in the development of medium to long-term planning: Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning (STRAP). You will be accountable for achieving business objectives, formulating and executing growth strategies, and providing key input to drive innovation and new product introductions. Your guidance and strategic thinking skills will be crucial in maintaining Honeywell’s position as a leading regional competitor.

You will report directly to our VP Global Sales and you’ll work out of our Bracknell, UK location on a On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the growth and success of Honeywell by achieving business objectives, formulating growth strategies, driving innovation, and guiding a high-performing team.

RESPONSSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the regional orders and revenue AOP for the SBU and deliver on growth targets
  • Focus on building a robust management operating system that establishes efficient processes and enhances operational productivity, cost management, and profitability.
  • Directly lead the sales and commercial functions to deliver orders and top line growth whilst ensuring cash position is effectively managed
  • Support Offering Management to define branding and market penetration strategies for the region and enhance market demand for offerings.
  • Define and execute the product and technology roadmap to serve the unique needs of the SBU customers in a differentiated way.
  • Engage with operations, sourcing, and finance functions to a common vision and deliver best-in-class performance, on-time delivery, quality, and service that exceed customer expectations.
  • Attract and develop a top talent pool that drives the growth of this business.
  • Drive compliance and forecast quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 20+ years’ in commercial leadership, strategy deployment, operations, business management or sales experience.
  • Experience in a guidance role either as a Sales Leader or General Manager across a significant geography.
  • Proven track record in delivering growth and financial performance for an independent line of business.
  • Demonstrate a successor and business/sales guidance succession and development plan and execution.
  • Strong financial knowledge on BS, P&L, Cash Flow, Working Capital mechanics.
  • Can demonstrate how to deploy and run a Financial Pulse MOS, as well as a Sales MOS.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor or MBA preferred.
  • Extensive management experience with P&L accountability.
  • Strong sales, branch management, and operations experience.
  • Oil and Gas upstream, midstream and downstream Industry experience, highly desired.
  • Strong tactical and strategic skills required.
  • Ability to motivate and build high-performing teams.
  • Process/systems and results-oriented.
  • Manages change through exploration and learning.
  • Ability to provide reliable judgment in complex situations.
  • Entrepreneurial skills with a record of exceeding objectives.
