Regional GPA Educator
Location: Regional Base with occasional national travel
Hours: Part Time (15 hours per week, 0.4 WTE) with core days between Tuesday and Thursday
Rate of Pay: £32 per hour

About Us
PCWA CIC is a primary care workforce and education organisation dedicated to making primary care the best place to work and learn. We design and deliver high-quality education and workforce programmes across GP practices, PCNs, Training Hubs, ICSs, universities and national NHS partners.
Our national General Practice Assistant (GPA) Programme is delivered across all seven NHS England regions and has recently been recognised with a Princess Royal Training Award.

About The Role
The Regional GPA Educator plays a key role in delivering the GPA Programme across an allocated region. The role provides educational support, guidance and practical advice to GPA learners and GP practices, helping learners succeed and supporting practices to embed the GPA role effectively.

The post holder will build strong relationships across PCNs, ICBs and partner organisations, monitor learner progress and contribute to programme quality and continuous improvement. This varied role combines education, learner support, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver the GPA Programme across the allocated region
- Provide expert educational support and guidance to GPA learners from onboarding to successful completion
- Facilitate engaging inductions, workshops, webinars and learning events
- Build strong relationships with GP practices, PCNs, ICBs, workforce leads and representatives
- Monitor learner experience and programme quality
- Share innovative ideas, best practice, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to strategic workforce development and effective integration of GPAs within Primary Care
What We’re Looking For
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in healthcare
- Teaching, training, coaching or education qualification, or demonstrable experience delivering education
- Experience working within Primary Care, General Practice or the NHS
- Experience supporting learners, apprentices or trainees
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisation, planning and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently across a geographical area
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
