Regional Head of Housing Services

Location: Remote with travel across London, the Southeast & East Anglia

Contract: 37.5 hours | 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £84,406 per annum including car allowance

We’re looking for an exceptional leader to help shape the future of housing services in our London and Southeast region, leading a large scale operation that put residents at the heart of everything we do.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious housing leader to broaden their influence, build on their operational expertise and shape the future of our services through a period of change. Reporting to the Regional Director of Housing Services, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across our diverse later living portfolio of approximately 12,000 homes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead a regional housing service of approximately 250 colleagues through an established management team, creating a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership across a large and complex housing portfolio, ensuring excellent delivery across all services.
  • Ensure services meet regulatory requirements, legislation, safeguarding responsibilities, and internal standards while maintaining a strong focus on resident experience.
  • Use performance data, customer insight and resident feedback to identify opportunities, improve services, and deliver better outcomes.
  • Lead transformational change, embedding new ways of working and supporting teams through service improvement and organisational change.
  • Own regional business plans, operational performance, and financial delivery, with budget and income responsibility.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, regulators, local authorities, and strategic partners, representing the organisation externally and contributing to sector best practice.
  • Alongside your regional responsibilities, you’ll take part in the development of national strategic housing function across the organisation, providing expertise and leadership in areas such as allocations and lettings, income management, anti-social behaviour, resident support, resident engagement, and safeguarding.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
