At DHL Supply Chain, we're looking for an inspirational leader who can turn insight into action, challenge the status quo, and drive exceptional operational performance. As Regional Head of Operational Performance, you'll have the opportunity to influence and enhance performance across a complex national ground handling network, delivering meaningful improvements in service, productivity, and commercial results.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll work closely with senior operational leaders to identify opportunities, implement innovative solutions, and champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact role where you'll combine data-driven decision making, strong stakeholder influence, and strategic leadership to shape the future performance of the operation.

A Typical Day May Involve

  • Partnering with General Managers to review site performance and develop plans to improve operational KPIs.

  • Analysing network-wide performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of risk.
  • Leading and developing a team of Performance Coaches to drive measurable improvements across multiple locations.
  • Reviewing commercial performance, identifying opportunities to increase variable revenue and improve EBIT delivery.
  • Working with Finance, Commercial, Business Intelligence, and operational teams to ensure data-driven decision making.
  • Engaging with customers, airports, and third-party providers to resolve performance challenges and improve operational outcomes.
  • Sharing best practice across the network and ensuring improvement initiatives are delivered sustainably.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
