Regional Head of Workplace Health & Safety

At OneSchool Global UK, creating safe, compliant and supportive learning environments is fundamental to everything we do. We are seeking an experienced Regional Head of Workplace Health & Safety to lead our health, safety and fire safety strategy across our network of 23 campuses and Regional Support Office.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, this is a senior leadership role with responsibility for providing strategic oversight, assurance and governance across the UK region. As the organisation's Health and Safety Competent Person, you will play a critical role in ensuring legal compliance, strengthening risk management and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role

This is far more than an advisory health and safety position. We are looking for a credible and influential leader who can provide strategic direction while remaining closely connected to operational delivery across a complex, multi-site organisation.

You will work with senior leaders, campus teams and key stakeholders to develop and embed effective health, safety and fire safety frameworks that support safe working and learning environments for staff, students, volunteers, contractors and visitors.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Leading workplace health, safety and fire governance across the UK region
  • Maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Developing and implementing policies, standards and management systems
  • Driving risk management, assurance and audit activity
  • Leading incident management, investigations and organisational learning
  • Supporting emergency preparedness and business continuity planning
  • Overseeing contractor and project safety arrangements
  • Providing expert advice, challenge and support to senior stakeholders
  • Using data and insight to identify trends and inform decision-making
  • Driving continuous improvement in health, safety and fire performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
