Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our HR team providing full employee relations & recruitment support at our Cardiff, Swansea, and Gloucester sites.

To front-line employees, you are an approachable, experienced individual who can offer impartial advice on Company policies and procedures. To our management staff, you are providing proactive HR consultative services in areas of employee relations, talent management, absence management & recruitment.

Contract: 12-month Fixed-term contract, with the possibility to make it a permanent contract at the end of the fixed term.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide full HR support to local management and employees. This includes ownership of the recruitment process and guidance on all employment relations issues.
  • Maintain strict compliance standards including the completion of background checks.
  • Conduct audits in HR owned matters to maintain high company standards.
  • Be an ambassador of company standards and expectations.

Essentials:

  • Full UK driving license and personal car with business travel insurance - this role will require weekly travel to Swindon and Cardiff.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Up-to-date understanding of employment law and UPS policies & procedures.
  • Able to demonstrate the successful management of multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to accommodate varying working hours - this role is a regular office job, however, it may require early starts to accommodate business needs.
