Job Purpose
This role provides direct support to the VP HRBL, Commercial Europe, partnering with Europe Leadership Team members, EU HR team, CPO & Commercial Talent Capability Team, GPS/US/International HR teams to deliver strategic HRBP support and talent agenda for the region. The HRBP aspect of the role will support regional functions, including Specialty, Oncology, Vaccines Therapy Areas, Regional Market Access, and Strategy and Operations, as well as selected functions within UK Commercial. The role is also the point of contact for planning, preparation, coordination and delivery of Europe-level strategic projects, transformation initiatives and talent management/succession initiatives.
In this role you will:
- Provide Regional HRBP support to Regional Therapy Areas teams (Specialty, Oncology, Vaccines), Regional Market Access, and Strategy and Operations, as well as selected UK Commercial functions.
- Provide effective oversight and orchestrate regional people priorities and key actions to ensure projects and initiatives are delivered with focus, impact and quality.
- Drive the Europe Region talent management agenda in line with the Global to Local and Local to Global talent and succession approach and hold key stakeholders and HR leaders accountable for its impact.
- Closely liaise with HRCHs and HRBLs to connect priorities, provide regional guidance and play a critical role in building a high-value creating leadership team.
- Connect sub-HR functions such as Talent, ER/IR, Recruitment, People Services and Reward to engage them in regional people priorities, drive business impact and ensure critical HR operations are delivered to meet business objectives.
- Manage key projects related to Europe-wide Talent, Leadership, Capability and Culture agendas, together with assigned project leads and members.
- Role model an effective HRBP skillset and proactively contribute to global/regional HR capability efforts.
- Promote culture change supporting Europe Region’s shift to a leaner, simpler and more agile operating model.
- Act as a channel for escalated issues/concerns and implement strategies to resolve risk and constraints.
- Coordinate analysis of key people metrics and drive actions based on identified insights.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HR, Business Administration)
- Previous experience in Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and/or HR Business Partnering
- Strong track record at global/regional/country level and ability to deliver strong performance in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to influence without authority. Executive presence and leadership maturity to directly work with senior leaders.
- Good understanding of talent management and succession planning.
- Good understanding of, and hands-on experience with, European consultation processes.
- Ability to build connections and alliances across all elements of the HR operating model to perform successfully in a matrixed structure.
- Hands-on experience with advanced people analytics tools, such as Visier.
Preferred Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Self-starter with a Completer/Finisher attitude, with the drive to initiate work and follow through to delivery.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to proactively shape environments without awaiting guidance.
