Regional Investment Director – North of England and Scotland

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Regional Investment Director – North of England and Scotland to join the UK Intermediary Distribution team. This role covers the North of England and Scotland and is home based.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Own and execute the regional business plan for the North of England and Scotland, delivering agreed sales, net flow, revenue, retention and pipeline objectives.
- Develop senior relationships with intermediary clients and prospects across wealth management, discretionary, advisory and regional firms.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial engagement through to implementation and ongoing relationship management.
- Build clear account plans for priority firms, using client and market insight to prioritise opportunities and drive commercial outcomes.
- Present BNY Investments’ investment capabilities and solutions to clients, matching products and strategies to their investment needs.
- Work closely with the Regional Client Coverage colleague and teams across Investment, Product, Marketing, Client Service and other functions to coordinate client activity and support opportunities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regional client demand, competitor activity and market developments, providing feedback to support distribution and product planning.
- Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline and forecasting information while operating in line with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Strong track record in intermediary distribution, client coverage, relationship management or business development within asset management or financial services, with experience delivering against commercial targets.
- Good knowledge of the UK intermediary market, ideally including the North of England and Scotland, with existing regional client relationships preferred.
- Strong understanding of investment products and fund structures, with the ability to position investment solutions effectively with intermediary clients.
- Proven ability to build senior client relationships, manage a territory or portfolio of accounts, prioritise opportunities and progress business through the sales cycle.
- Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills, with disciplined CRM and pipeline management; IMC or an equivalent investment qualification is preferred.
