Nudge Education

Nudge Education is a national intervention service for children that are chronically disengaged from education.

We are hopeful that the tailored and bespoke interventions that we design and deliver will help to re-engage thousands of children across the country in the coming years.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Lead to join our Midlands regional team.

Main Accountabilities

GROWTH

  • Generating new young person referrals to our service through a range of initiatives to connect with schools, local authorities and other commissioners
  • Attending networking or recruitment events as a delegate or exhibitor
  • Building close relationships with our partners: local authorities, schools, parents and professional services to promote togetherness and achieve the aims of the young people we support
  • Working with the Partnerships team to write and submit Tender & Procurement bids to a deadline
  • Overall responsibility for the utilisation of Practitioners across the region

QUALITY

  • Meeting with commissioners to report on intervention progress, forecast future needs and gather feedback
  • Lead on Safeguarding across the region as the RDSL (Regional Designated Safeguarding Lead).
  • Overall responsibility for the quality of interventions in the region
  • Line management of Assistant Regional Leads within the region through team meetings, weekly 1-1s and quarterly Performance Reviews.
  • Ensuring that the wider learning and development needs across the region are met so that Practitioners deliver the highest quality
  • Interviewing and inducting new Practitioners in the region
  • Adhering to key relevant standards as outlined by Nudge Education, Nudge Minds, Department of Education and any other relevant agency
  • Investigating conduct concerns or complaints in collaboration with HR

Key details of the role:

  • Location: Candidates must be based in the Midlands and willing to travel across the region
  • Salary: £32,000 - 39,000
  • Hours of work: Full time year round, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract duration: Permanent (subject to passing 6 month probation period)
  • Reporting to: Interim Service Manager
  • Responsible for: Assistant Regional Leads
  • Closing Date: Friday 28th August 2026
