Regional Learning & Development Coordinator
Are you a highly organised coordinator with a passion for learning and development? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, stakeholder management, and planning are key to success? Elysium Healthcare is looking for a Regional Learning & Development Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality training across our services.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and administration of learning activities across the region, ensuring every training course has the right trainer, the right delegates, the right resources, and accurate records. Working closely with trainers, operational teams, and colleagues across the organisation, you'll help deliver a seamless learning experience that supports compliance, capability, and professional development.
As the Regional Learning & Development Coordinator, you will manage course bookings, coordinate training schedules, arrange venues, oversee cancellations and re-bookings, and ensure learning records are accurately maintained within Elysium's Learning Management System (MEL). You'll monitor training compliance and work proactively with stakeholders to support solutions and maintain mandatory training standards across the region.
A key aspect of the role is balancing training demand across multiple services, maximising course attendance and utilisation while ensuring an efficient and cost-effective approach to training delivery. You'll collaborate with Learning & Development colleagues across the organisation to optimise capacity, share resources, and maintain Elysium's high standards for learning and development.
You'll also play an important role in maintaining accurate training data, producing reports, supporting audits, and escalating potential compliance risks where necessary. Through clear communication and strong organisational skills, you'll help ensure colleagues have access to the training they need to succeed in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Scheduling & Planning
- Build and maintain the regional training schedule across all sites and services.
- Coordinate trainer availability, ensuring optimal use of regional facilitation capacity.
- Schedule delegates across the region based on need, expiry of mandatory training, risk, and operational demand.
- Avoid duplication by using enterprise-wide capacity (not site-by-site siloing).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
