SALARY FROM £56,000 PER ANNUM, PLUS COMPANY CAR, BONUS AND COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS

SCOTLAND, IRELAND, NORTHERN ENGLAND & NORTH REGIONS

THIS IS A FIELD BASED ROLE WHICH INVOLVES REGULAR TRAVEL ACROSS MULTIPLE REGIONS IN THE UK AND IRELAND. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE BASED IN, OR LIVES A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO ONE OF THESE REGIONS.

The role

As our new Regional Learning & Development Manager, you will steer the L&D focus for our retail teams across two specific regions. You will make a real difference by identifying capability needs and providing the right resources to achieve them.

Working collaboratively across all areas of the business, you will partner closely with the wider team to support succession planning and talent programmes. We will support you as you take overall accountability for day-to-day operational matters within the L&D function, empowering you with the guidance needed to develop your team to their full potential.

What you'll take on

  • Defining and driving the learning and development strategy in NEXT retail to reflect current and future capability trends.
  • Taking overall accountability for all day-to-day operational matters within the L&D function and ensuring effective work processes are in place.
  • Organising and coordinating multiple work streams while empowering others to deliver on project goals.
  • Delivering and evaluating high-quality, innovative L&D programmes using blended learning approaches.
  • Managing budgets appropriately and building excellent relationships with suppliers to secure the best product at the best price.
  • Using data and evidence to make informed decisions that drive results, whilst always considering business risk and cost.
