The Company:

Recorra is a leading circular economy company, providing services for recycling, data destruction and office supplies in London and the South East. We are born environmentalists, formed by Friends of the Earth in 1988 and now operating as an independent commercial organisation.

We are an ethical and fast-growing company with a team of exceptional people and are looking for someone to join us during an exciting period of change and growth. The role provides the opportunity for you to use your skills to make a difference within a friendly, dynamic and forward-thinking company. The culture is energetic, and there will be many opportunities for you to make a substantial contribution to the business.

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Operations Manager to lead our South East operations across Hastings and Lancing.

This is a hands-on management role responsible for ensuring our collection and supply chain operations run safely, efficiently and compliantly while delivering an excellent service to our customers. You'll lead a small operational management team, support our drivers and frontline staff, and play a key role in driving performance across the region.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of Recorra's South East collections
  • Ensure operational performance targets are achieved across safety, service delivery, productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor depot performance and implement improvements where required
  • Support the effective planning and allocation of vehicles, drivers and operational resources
  • Work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently
  • Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve service delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
