Job Title: Regional Manager - South West
Company Overview
Starkwood Media Group has been delivering website design and digital solutions to independent vehicle dealers for over 25 years. The company specialises in bespoke and template websites for car, van, motorbike, motorhome, and commercial vehicle dealers, as well as stock management, email marketing, finance integrations, and vehicle advertising services.
Job Overview
The Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for the company’s website design and managed services. This role focuses on building strong relationships with prospective customers, understanding their business challenges, and positioning software solutions that deliver clear commercial value. Working closely with sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams, the Regional Manager develops and maintains a robust sales pipeline, executes go-to-market strategies, and supports long-term customer success. The role combines strategic market insight with hands-on sales execution, contributing directly to business growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target markets and sectors
- Cold Calling and prospecting to increase pipeline and in turn new business sales
- Grow sales revenue from commercial partners at field level
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through proactive outreach, referrals, events, and marketing-generated leads
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and close
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer needs and business challenges
- Develop long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers
- Work closely with account management, implementation, and support teams to ensure smooth handovers and customer satisfaction
Market & Product Alignment
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s software products, roadmap, and competitive positioning
- Stay informed on market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity
- Provide structured feedback to product and leadership teams on customer needs and market opportunities
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead-generation initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including pipeline, forecasts, and activity tracking
- Produce regular sales forecasts and performance reports for management
- Represent the business professionally at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings

Experience and Qualifications Required
Desirable – Qualification of Business studies, Marketing, or related field sales
Experience and Skills Required
- Essential - Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Essential - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Essential - Experience with CRM software and ability to adapt to new systems
- Essential - Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
- Essential - Excellent negotiation skills
- Essential - Ability to build and deliver engaging presentations
- Desirable - Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Desirable - Understanding of sales performance metrics
Suitable for someone who…
- Consistently achieves or exceeds revenue targets, can build a predictable, high-quality sales pipeline whilst developing strong, long-term customer relationships.
- You can effectively position the software as a solution to real business problems, always acting as a trusted commercial representative of the business
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years Field Sales new business experience required
- Hunter mentality
- A passion for digital marketing and the ability to clearly demonstrate the benefits of this
- A confident and professional telephone manner and all-round fantastic communication and sales skills
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to plan and manage a wide geographic
- Positive, tenacious, energetic, enthusiastic, and able to work on their own initiative
- Understanding of social media
- Quick learner who can take on board new product information
- This role is field-based so must live within the geographic territory
