Regional Cleaning Manager
Location: North England (Regional Travel Required)
About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential retail client for an experienced Regional Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple locations in the North of England. This is an exciting opportunity for an established cleaning operations professional or an ambitious Area Manager, Cleaning Manager, or Operations Manager looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
You'll be responsible for leading and supporting cleaning teams across a portfolio of sites, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, compliance, and service delivery are consistently achieved. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supporting site-based cleaning teams
- Driving operational performance and service excellence
- Conducting site visits, audits, and compliance checks
- Ensuring health & safety and cleaning standards are maintained
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and site management
- Managing staffing levels, performance, and team development
- Implementing cleaning processes and continuous improvements
- Supporting the achievement of contractual KPIs and operational objectives

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience managing cleaning operations within retail, facilities management, contract cleaning, hospitality, healthcare, logistics, or similar environments
- A strong understanding of cleaning processes, standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to travel regularly across the North of England
This role could suit someone already operating at regional level or a high-performing operational manager looking for a step up into a broader, multi-site position.
