Are you an experienced operational leader ready to take ownership of a large, complex region where your decisions have a direct impact on the UK's Defence estate?
At VIVO, we're looking for an exceptional Regional Manager to lead high-performing teams, drive operational excellence, and build strong customer relationships across a diverse portfolio of military sites. This is an opportunity to lead from the front, influence strategic decisions, and play a key role in delivering critical facilities management and infrastructure services that support Defence capability.
- You'll oversee the delivery of planned maintenance, reactive works, and additional services, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Working closely with Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) representatives, customers, operational teams, and supply chain partners, you'll ensure service excellence while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and future growth.
- As part of the senior leadership team, you'll have responsibility for operational performance, financial management, and commercial outcomes across your region.
- You'll inspire and develop a diverse team, creating a culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with statutory, contractual, and health and safety requirements.

This is a varied leadership role where no two days are the same. From managing budgets and contract performance to strengthening customer relationships and driving innovation, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK's most important infrastructure contracts. About You
You'll be an experienced operational leader with a strong background in hard services facilities management, construction, engineering, or property maintenance, and you'll thrive in managing complex, multi-site operations. You'll have experience leading large teams, managing budgets, delivering against demanding KPIs, and building trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
- You'll understand how to balance operational delivery with commercial performance, making sound decisions that deliver value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate teams, manage change, and continuously improve performance.
- Ideally, you'll hold an HND or equivalent qualification in Building, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, together with a management-level health and safety qualification such as SMSTS or NEBOSH.
- Experience working within Defence, MOD, or highly regulated environments, knowledge of CDM Regulations, and CAFM systems such as Maximo would be advantageous, although not essential for candidates with transferable leadership experience.
