Location: Field based – Republic of Ireland


We are looking for a Regional Manager to cover both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, based in one of those locations. Please apply for this position only if you are available/interested in being based in the Republic of Ireland location.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Regional Manager, you will lead a team of Engineering Surveyors across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with Operations Managers and Technical Teams to ensure contractual commitments are achieved while creating an engaged, motivated, and high-performing workforce. You will be responsible for resource planning, performance management, recruitment activities, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and service delivery within your region.

What You Bring

  • Proven leadership experience managing field-based engineering or service delivery teams;
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams;
  • Excellent stakeholder and customer relationship management capabilities;
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, performance metrics, and business objectives;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively balance resources and workloads;
  • A confident and proactive approach with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement;
  • Commitment to maintaining and promoting a positive safety culture.

What You’ll Need

  • Demonstrable experience leading field-based engineering or service-oriented teams;
  • Engineering qualification;
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent);
  • Strong understanding of KPI management and operational performance delivery;
  • Knowledge of regulations including LOLER, PSSR, PUWER, COSHH, and Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations would be advantageous;
  • Previous experience within engineering inspection, lifting equipment, pressure systems, LEV systems, power presses, or related engineering disciplines would be advantageous;
  • Holder of a full UK or Irish driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
