Description
Flexspace operates and manages a diverse portfolio of commercial property across around 50 sites nationwide, providing office space, workshops, and flexible business units to a wide range of customers. We are now looking for a Regional Manager – North-East & Yorkshire (Harrogate-based) to take ownership of the performance, presentation, and customer experience across our sites in the North-East and Yorkshire region. You will play a key and hands-on role in driving occupancy, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring our sites are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Harrogate, with regular travel across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the performance of the North-East & Yorkshire region, delivering against occupancy, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Lead, support, and develop Centre Managers and on-site teams to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service and site presentation.
- Ensure all vacant units are in a ready-to-show/ready-to-occupy condition at all times, working closely with Facilities and contractors.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure vacancies are effectively advertised and enquiries are handled promptly, including undertaking viewings within agreed timeframes.
- Monitor and manage arrears in partnership with the Credit Control team, proactively addressing debt risks and supporting the collection process.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, driving retention and identifying opportunities to grow occupancy and revenue.
- Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to across all sites in the region, identifying and addressing any risks.
- Oversee site-level repairs, maintenance, landscaping, and estate management requirements, escalating issues where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records, forecasts, and reports, ensuring CRM and other systems are kept up to date.
- Monitor local market activity and competitor offerings, feeding insights back into pricing, product, and marketing decisions.
- Champion Flexspace values and culture across the region, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience in a multi-site management, regional management, or area management role, ideally within property, facilities, hospitality, or a related customer-focused environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering against occupancy, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Experience leading and developing dispersed teams, with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold people to account.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities across different sites.
- Comfortable working with data and systems to inform decisions and track performance.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Determination, resilience, and a hands-on approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at site level.
- A customer-first mindset, always looking for ways to improve the experience for our occupiers.
