SWPA is part of LHC Procurement Group, one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit procurement organisations supporting the public sector. For 60 years, we have worked with local authorities, housing providers and public sector organisations to deliver high-quality construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects that benefit communities and improve people’s lives.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Regional Manager to drive growth, strengthen strategic partnerships and lead client engagement across the South West region.

This is a highly visible role where you'll act as a trusted adviser to public sector clients, develop strong relationships across the housing and construction sectors and play a key role in delivering SWPA's regional growth ambitions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and maintaining relationships with local authorities, housing associations, public sector organisations and appointed companies across the South West
  • Developing and delivering regional business development plans to increase framework usage, turnover and income
  • Identifying new opportunities and driving sustainable growth across the region
  • Leading and supporting the Client Support Team to deliver exceptional client service
  • Representing SWPA at industry events, networking forums and client meetings
  • Collaborating with colleagues across LHC Procurement Group to maximise opportunities and deliver outstanding client outcomes

About You

You'll be a natural relationship-builder with the commercial acumen, leadership skills and strategic mindset to grow our regional presence and strengthen our partnerships across the South West.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience of delivering commercial or business development targets in public sector organisations, local authorities, housing providers or construction-related businesses
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Experience managing, coaching or leading teams
  • Excellent planning, analytical and commercial skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently across a regional territory
