Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
As Regional Member Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building an engaged, connected, and inclusive professional community across the region. Working closely with the Regional Board and internal stakeholders, you will lead the development and delivery of the Regional Market Plan, ensuring members feel supported, valued, and connected to RICS.

- Leading and supporting the Regional Board, including board recruitment, onboarding, governance, and delivery of regional priorities.
- Developing and implementing member engagement strategies that drive participation, satisfaction, and community growth.
- Creating and delivering impactful networking events, professional development opportunities, and early careers initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with members, candidates, volunteers, and key stakeholders across the region. Managing regional communications, social media activity, and digital storytelling to showcase member achievements and strengthen the RICS brand.
- Using data, insights, and member feedback to continuously improve engagement activities and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure regional activity aligns with wider organisational goals and strategic priorities.
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused professional with a passion for member engagement and community building.
You will bring:
- Experience of engaging, influencing, and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and tell compelling stories.
- Experience of planning and delivering events, programmes, and networking opportunities.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, using data and feedback to drive improvements and engagement outcomes.
- Experience of supporting boards, committees, or governance structures.
- Confidence in managing social media and digital engagement channels.
- A commitment to inclusivity and creating positive experiences for people from all backgrounds.
- A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing member and business needs.
