Regional Network Manager (West Midlands)
Are you passionate about building strong industry partnerships and developing high-performing teams? As a Regional Network Manager, you'll be CITB's trusted lead across the West Midlands, working closely with employers, training providers, and key stakeholders to help ensure the construction industry has the skills it needs for the future.
You'll lead and inspire a team of Advisors, driving excellent customer engagement, strengthening local networks, and supporting employers to access training, funding, and development opportunities through the Employer Network and Training Provider Network. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll influence industry priorities, champion continuous improvement, and help shape skills provision across the region.
Job Details
- Job: Regional Network Manager (West Midlands)
- Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)
- Contract: Permanent
- Grade: SL1
- Target Salary: £58,633 + £6,799 Annual Car Allowance
- Location: Mobile (West Midlands)
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing mobile team to achieve regional objectives.
- Build strong relationships with employers, training providers, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive engagement with CITB's Employer Network and Training Provider Network.
- Support employers to identify training needs and access relevant funding and support.
- Organise and lead Employer Network Steering Group meetings, ensuring industry voices are heard.
- Work closely with CITB colleagues to deliver a joined-up approach for employers and learners.
- Support the growth of local training provision and strengthen regional skills networks.
- Champion continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and operational effectiveness.

What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Proven experience influencing, negotiating, and building successful partnerships.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong communication and influencing abilities with experience driving positive change.
- Experience developing and delivering action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrable leadership experience, including coaching teams to deliver results and improve performance.
- Strong understanding of people management, including performance, attendance, and resource planning.
Desirable:
- Coaching and mentoring qualification.
- Experience managing mobile or field-based operational teams.
- Knowledge of training, apprenticeships, further education, or higher education.
- Experience working within or alongside the construction industry

- Full driving licence to enable regular travel throughout regions and from time to time across GB.
- Living in or very near the regional area the role is designated to cover.
- Ability to work from home as required ensuring that confidential information is protected
