BUSINESS OPERATION MANAGER

Central London office
Hybrid 3 days WFH
Salary up to £65,000 pa, plus best of breed benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-growth, PE-backed professional services business at an important stage of its expansion. The role offers the chance to help build the operational infrastructure, processes and governance required to support a rapidly scaling organisation, combining strategic improvement with detailed hands-on execution.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve day-to-day business operations across the organisation.
  • Develop and embed SOPs, processes, controls and governance frameworks to create consistency and scalability.
  • Manage business support activities, operational budgets, suppliers, contracts and procurement.
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying efficiencies and implementing best practice across H&S.
  • Lead operational projects covering systems, technology, automation, organisational change and business transformation.
  • Support onboarding, business continuity, governance administration and company-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain key company records, registrations, insurance documentation and operational controls.
  • Provide reporting, analysis and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Line manage and develop the Operations Coordinator and contribute to the wider Business Support function.

  • 5+ years’ Operations, Business Operations or similar experience.
  • Proven experience building and improving processes and operational infrastructure, particularly H&S.
  • Strong project, stakeholder, supplier and budget management skills.
  • Commercial, analytical and highly organised, with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growth environment where processes and infrastructure are still being built and evolved.
