Overview

Location: Wales & West Region

This role supports our centres across Bristol, Exeter, and Newport, with travel throughout the wider region.

We're looking for an experienced Regional Operations Lead to provide leadership across multiple repair centres within a designated region. This is a key role responsible for driving operational performance, developing high-performing teams, ensuring consistent customer outcomes, and delivering strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

As a Regional Operations Lead, You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leading and supporting multiple site management teams across your region.
  • Driving operational performance against key business objectives and KPIs.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and a consistent customer journey.
  • Developing and coaching leaders to build capability and succession strength.
  • Managing resources, budgets, and operational activities effectively.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing change.
  • Working collaboratively with support functions and key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the delivery of Solus's strategic growth and business objectives.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

We're Interested In Hearing From Candidates Who Can Demonstrate

  • Proven experience leading multi-site operations or large operational teams.
  • Strong people leadership and coaching capability.
  • Experience driving performance, engagement, and operational improvements.
  • Commercial awareness and sound financial management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
  • The ability to operate strategically whilst remaining close to operational delivery.

Experience within automotive repair, transport, logistics, retail, manufacturing, or another fast-paced operational environment would be advantageous.
