Regional Operations Manager Opportunity at Starboard Hotels

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager to join the team at Starboard Hotels. We are an ambitious, family-owned business, celebrating our 20th year and we've added this new position to help us on our journey as we continue to grow.

Role Overview

The right person will be ambitious, commercially minded, detail-oriented, with a proven track record as an Operations Manager or Multi-site General Manager experience. This is a strategic leadership role with field-based management of a team of General Managers, overseeing 15 predominantly Accor-branded hotels across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use your extensive operational experience to coach and challenge your General Managers to deliver outstanding guest experiences, boost financial performance, drive food and beverage sales, meet legal and safety standards and develop strong hotel teams.
  • Be accountable for driving revenue growth, profitability, labor efficiency, and overall commercial performance across your region.
  • Support hotel acquisitions, refurbishments, openings, and key business improvement initiatives.
  • Passionate about hospitality and ready to make a real difference as a leader.

Reporting and Travel

The role, which reports to our Operations Director, will involve travel between our properties, and regular visits to our Chorley office to meet with your Operations colleagues. You can typically expect to be on the road four days a week, with one day working from home, but this will be largely dictated by the demand of the business and how you can best support your GMs.

Location

As the role involves travel to properties across a wide geographical area, applicants should ideally be based in a central location with good access to major road and transport networks.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a salary of £75,000 p.a. with benefits including private medical insurance, a workplace pension, fantastic employee discounts, and more.
