Regional Operations Manager - Adult Social Care

Location: Northwest (Lancashire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester)
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a driven operations leader ready to champion quality care and foster a winning culture with a background in Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Mental Health care?

Are you an experienced Multi-site Registered Manager looking for a step up into Regional Operations?

Overview

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading adult social care provider, supporting them in the appointment of a Regional Operations Manager to join their senior operational leadership team.

Our client is dedicated to providing high-quality residential and supported living services for adults with complex needs. With strong backing, high levels of autonomy, and plans for future expansion, the business invests heavily in its leadership team to empower service managers, elevate regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional care outcomes across the region.

The Role

As a Regional Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a portfolio of adults supported across residential and supported living services. Drawing on your management experience within adult social care (specifically Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Mental Health), you will lead, mentor, and empower Registered Managers (many of whom are rising stars within the organisation), guiding them through complex operational challenges and helping them excel.

This is a dynamic operational leadership role that offers significant autonomy to implement turnaround strategies, drive quality improvements, and maintain top-tier CQC compliance stats. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will bring energy and determination to set high standards and foster a healthy, competitive culture across regions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
